as a meditation space the cabin was thought of as a series of rooms, where a state of meditation is not where everything happens everywhere, but where there’s a specificity and familiarity to the space. this familiarity is carried through in appearance where the cabin looks like a cabin; there’s a door, some windows, a chimney and a roof. the only difference being this one is lifted from the ground, where a non-associative threshold in the form of a rock separates the cabin by an action.
